A Doku duel is played against a random opponent or a Game Center friend. Logging in to a Game Center account is required.

The main objective of a duel match is to finish the cipher ahead of your opponent. As you progress in this endeavor, your reputation as a Doku Warrior will grow in the game center leaderboards.

To start a duel, pick the highest difficulty level you are willing to play in the main Control View. (Higher level puzzles take long. The duel is designed for a quick match at lower levels.) Pressing the Duel button (Large orange rectangle) will bring up the Game Center panel.



Press the "Play Now" button for the match with a random opponent. If the levels selected by each player differ, the lower of the levels will be used to generate the puzzle. (This may change in future versions of Doku.)

To invite a Game Center friend, press the "Invite Friend" button instead and wait until the friend accept your invitation. When the "Play Now" button becomes active, press it to start.
