Can I listen to music from my Music Library while playing Doku?

Turn down the volume of Doku music to
zero in its Settings section. Then go to the Music app ( or any app that can play music in the background) and start a tune or preferably a playlist. Come back to Doku. The next time when you change the volume back to a non-zero, built-in Doku loops will take over.

How do I quickly change skins/music loops/sound level?

You can quickly access some of the settings functions by tapping the main board with two fingers or by shaking the device (somewhat vigorously….) to bring out the quick control module.

The sound feedback (ear candy) for the times when I fill a row, column or box complete seems to occur even if the move was not a correct one?

You are right. Most of the time, when you complete a row or a block, Doku gives a pleasant sound feedback (ear candy) as a positive feedback on the progress. However, at early stages of a non-trivial puzzle, it is also possible that a completed row or column does not necessarily mean that all moves were legitimate. It is debatable whether such ear candy should be used only when the moves contained in the completed row/column or block are all valid. However, it can potentially take away good part of the fun in the more challenging levels. There, one ofter encounters the cipher which hinges on either/or possibilities which can be resolved only through figuring out deep, hidden constraints. Exploiting the easy sound feedback may help you crack it faster, but it diminishes the quality of the satisfaction for the level. It also undermines the integrity of the leaderboard scores. You should take that the ear candy only acknowledges the fact that a column/row or box is only apparently complete, not necessarily validating all moves as correct.

During the duel play, I notice that my iPhone vibrates whenever my opponent makes a move, but my iPad doesn't?

That is because iPad hardware does not vibrate. Let us hope that in the future, iPad will also learn to vibrate.
