Challenge via Dokugram on Facebook -- Duel with a Friendly Ghost
challengeFB_dark
A small pistol button with fb appears on the corner of the display that appears after you successfully solve a doku puzzle. fb stands for Facebook, and the pistol stands for Dokugram, a data package that carries the cipher and your move-history, to your friends (including yourself). Pressing the button will post a Dokugram invitation on your Facebook timeline, inviting your friends to try the puzzle themselves.

If your friend taps on the invitation on your timeline, (assuming that Doku is already installed on the iOS device), Doku will start a simulated duel session on the friend's device, pitting your friend in a race against your former-self as it will use the history of your moves made earlier on the same puzzle and replicate the audio-visual ambience of a duel with a live opponent. The dokugram also carries an abbreviated history of previous players' stats accumulated over time as it bounces among a circle of friends. When you beat the dokugram, you will see how you fared against previous players. Furthermore, when you finish, it will automatically post your time to the original Facebook dokugram as a comment. If you have ten doku friends, invite them to play the dokugram. The comments accumulated on it will put an end to your on-going dispute about who is the smartest….! (Depending on the version of Doku, posting a dokugram to your Facebook timeline may consume one eCapsule. Getting and playing off a friend's dokugram is free for all.)

You may revisit a dokugram that you had played earlier. If Doku recognizes that you had played it earlier, it will transform the puzzle into one that
looks different, but has the same level of difficulty, so you can try it afresh.

You post the dokugram (along with the image of the pristine puzzle) to your Facebook account by pressing the button with the pistol and the fb mark on it.

After a few moments, the invitation is posted to your timeline. At the same time, an image of the pristine puzzle is posted to your photo library. The encrypted dokugram is added as a comment to the photo. The following link item will appear on your friends' news feed:

If this piques your friend's interest,
(he may first get Doku installed on his device by pressing the Get Doku button at the bottom of the post) he may want to examine the puzzle itself before deciding to play. Tapping on the "https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?…." link in the body of the message will take him to the entry in your DOKU photo library:

Note that there are comments added by Doku on your behalf at the time of its posting. The first comment contains the dokugram data. The second comment would contain your performance on the puzzle. You may should these two items as they are for others to play it in the future. When a friend successfully finish the dokugram, his/her performance will be added automatically as a comment. (
You may add other comments, as long as you leave the first comment in tact.)

When the friend taps on the link as shown above, Doku App on his device is invoked to download the dokugram data. After the dokugram is successfully downloaded, Doku will open it in the
simulated duel mode. In it, the player will play against a virtual opponent whose moves follow as encoded in the original dokugram. In other words, all players of this dokugram will be playing against you, its original poster.

In case you have trouble posting dokugram or stat to your Facebook account, you may need to re-establish the Facebook credentials. To do so, please follow steps as described in the FAQ section. You may also check out the issues page for details.
