DOKU Index

Your progress in the global Doku race is gauged in terms of the Doku Index. It is a number that tracks how much successful experience you gained at each difficulty level. The amount of Doku index points awarded for each cipher depends on the level and your maturity. It also matters whether you used excessive hints or not. At advanced maturity, improving on your stats gains you extra Doku points. Progressively higher multiplier (x4 for each level up) is applied for upper levels to reflect the amount of time and effort it takes to finish a cipher. The stats view displays accumulated Doku index for each level. The Global Doku Index (sum total of your Doku Index points for all six levels, the foremost leaderboard for Doku in the Game Center) indicates your global ranking.

Speed Leaderboard

If the Doku index indicates your overall capability, the average speed for each level shows how nimble your mind is. True master of Doku should strive for both.

The following shows the Stats View. Its main components are the Doku index and the average speed for each level. They are good indicators of how good you are. All Game Center leaderboards and achievements are accessed via the small buttons on the right bottom corner. On the left-bottom, there are Facebook and Twitter buttons, with which you announce your progress to your friends and foes. (These functions become active only when you reach the Apprentice level and beyond.)
